Districts in Great Western Council - Patches

When Crescent Bay Area Council merged with San Fernando Valley Council in the fall of 1972, the seven districts of the Council continued without much change for another year. Beverly Hills, Culver Palms, Golden Trails, Marina, Santa Monica, Westwood and Will Rogers Districts still had their District executives and held camporees and other district activities. However, beginning in 1974 and continuing into 1982, all of the original districts consolidated through a series of mergers until there was only one district left, appropriately named : Crescent Bay District.
